Local History Day will take place at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Main on Saturday, November 2. This event will feature authors discussing their research on local history topics. One of the featured authors is Jilly MacDowell, who wrote "Quiet Storm," a book that commemorates a popular vegan and vegetarian restaurant that operated in Garfield from 2001 to 2013.
