Work at the intersection of US Highway 85 and US Highway 34 in Weld County will resume in mid-March near Garden City in Greeley. The improvements include completing the remaining safety work at the intersection—dubbed Spaghetti Junction—by improving signage, lane striping, widening shoulders, and installing new guardrails.

During the 2024 construction season, crews have already located utilities and prepared for overhead sign installation within the project limits. The project is expected to be completed by June 2025.

Daytime work will occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists may experience single and alternating lane closures during construction. For more information, visit the Colorado Department of Transportation website.
