Geneva Fire Department recently put a new Blitz’s Fire portable monitor into service on engine 1112. The equipment is designed to assist firefighters in controlling large fires and managing exposure issues to protect nearby properties. Geneva Firefighters Local 2859 noted that the new equipment enhances the department's ability to provide fire protection for Geneva’s citizens. The department continues to train on new methods to serve local residents and visitors.
