Geneva Public Library in Geneva, NY, is preparing for a Super Mario Bros Gaming event this week. As part of event preparations, Youth Services Librarian Brandi tested a VR headset, which generated humorous moments.

The library is also offering a variety of other programs. For preschoolers, there is Messy Story Hour Monday through Wednesday at 10 am and Sensory Shenanigans on Tuesday at 10 am. School-age programs include Creators Club on Wednesdays at 4 pm and Girls Who Code on Thursdays at 5 pm.

Special events on the schedule include Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 3 at 10 am, Bedtime Yoga on Friday, May 2 at 5:30 pm, Kids Self Defense on Saturday, May 3 at 11:30 am, Kids Cooking Class on Monday, April 28 at 1 pm, and a Basket Raffle on Saturday, April 29 throughout the day.

For middle schoolers and teens, the library is hosting Teen DnD on Monday, April 8 from 6 to 7 pm; Middle School Gaming and Youth Gaming Class on Friday, April 18 at 5 pm; a Ceramic Painting session on Monday, April 17 at 6 pm; a Family Movie Night on Wednesday, April 15 at 2 pm; and a Super Smash Bros Gaming Tournament on Thursday, April 17 at 6 pm.
