The Buy Fresh Buy Local initiative is set to feature farmers markets and cooking demonstrations in Western Pennsylvania, with several events scheduled throughout the summer and fall.

In Squirrel Hill, markets will take place on Sundays: July 28, August 4, August 25, and September 15. The East End will hold its markets on Mondays: August 26 and October 14. The Northside market is scheduled for Friday, August 30.

Professional chefs from Farm to Table Western PA will lead cooking demonstrations using fresh ingredients sourced directly from the markets. The final cooking demo of the season will be held at the East End Farmers Market on October 14.
