New York Fund Pays Farmers for Sustainable Practices

The New York Outcomes Fund, a pilot program from the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability, has paid farmers for adopting sustainable farming practices. Farmers participating in the fund have implemented measures such as planting cover crops and reducing soil tillage. These efforts have taken place on nearly 15,000 acres in western and central New York.
